AC Blower fan

Asked by GuruTTSG2 Jun 20, 2018 at 12:53 AM about the 2000 Ford E-Series E-150 STD Econoline

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the blower motor fan and replaced the
fan switch resistor, and the serpentine belt. I may
have mixed the wires, but repaired that also. The
main reason for these repairs, was to address the
AC front stops when increasing RPM to climb hills
or to increase speed quickly, and the rear AC was
blowing normal or warm air out the 4 rear roof
vents. Any thoughts? My next troubleshooting step
is to check Freon levels. Thoughts?

First check fuses, then the fan motor resistor, relatively easy to replace, the resistors are known to burn carode.
