Rear A/C & Heat

Asked by young Jun 27, 2017 at 06:07 PM about the 1997 Ford E-Series E-150 XLT Club Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Econoline 150 (E150) with the raised
roof & storage compartments. It has rear heat & air
that worked when I first got the van but, doesn't
now. I heard the fan making a noise before it went
completely out so, I'm almost certain it's the
problem. My question would be, where do I find the
fan? I've taken apart the panels in the very back of
the van but only found a box that wasn't large
enough for the fan...

It should be in the back left hand side by the last row of seats, at the back door

I looked there. There's a box with lines running to it but no fan & the box seems pretty well mounted

My wife also found this diagram. Though it's somewhat like the box I found it's not identical.

That would make sense. It's a Regency van so, where would I go to find out more about it???

I don't know but the info I provided you is all I can. Maybe look on the web or YouTube for any info or wait for someone that is more knowledgeable about the aftermarket system, you maybe able to call the company if they are still in business

I finally found & removed the fan. Now my problem is, I can't find it anywhere. I find similar ones but not the one I have. I've been to all the auto parts stores & it seems like no one carries it. It's a single shaft, 3 speed, universal bus & van motor. The part # is D'001-435 any ideas on where I can find it?
