unlikely , is the temp. gauge steady after warm up ?
Because water runs uphill sometimes- in Fords, at least
R these answers for real. When I said it runs backwards I just meant that it is gushing out the top of radiator

why didn't you say so in the first place ? from a cold start the coolant gushes out of the radiator ?

this just started happening or was some kind of work done on the truck ?
Yes I asked a shop to check it out and they found a leak in the rear heater. So they removed it and told me later I didn't need it the check up was because the fan was so loud it sounded like a jet. Well they didn't solve that or the high idle so when I got it back I started some work on it my self. Mainly trying to figure out the poblems I mentioned but when I took the radiator cap off this is what happened. At first it seemed fine and hen the fluid started gushing out rhwtop

The heater core is by passed ? Take it some where else if you can't do it yourself , these trucks aren't that hard to work on IMO , I think the coolant lines are wrong .
I thought so as well I checked and so far everything looks ok is there somewhere to get diagram of the cooling system.
