I have a 5.8 engine in my van that just bit the Dust
is there another size engine that can fit in there or
do I have to replace it with the exact same size

you can fit the auto box providing it is from the same make and type of automobile. also why don't you consider rebuilding the tranny yourself? as the bearings are cheap and relatively simple to get out

sorry dude wrong answer, I would replace it with the same size and manufactured motor as per the original, you will find a runner in a local salvage yard for around $250

Replace it with the same engine however i was wondering if u would sale me your exaust manifolds off your expired 5.8 engine????
