can you test fuel pump without removing gas tank

sure ,, you separate the fuel line (engine off) ... put a special fitting called a "T" that's connected to a gauge, start the engine and measure the pressure . For safety you need 2 people because if you have a leak .. you want the ignition off ..Quick.
