it may need a proper ground , any electrical connections should be clean and tight , something else may have failed by pure coincidence
I ran through grounds this morning and check conne tions into clips and fuse boxes and everything is crisp clean and not one burnt...jw cause ive heard of people frying their ecm and bcms by crossing wires and dont want to just straight to that kind of money

but the lights still don't work , something has to be blown , tripped , burnt or out of place and probably has something to do with the solenoid replacement
Thats what ive bee going over on it but i can find absolutely nithing other then maybe he popped the light switch (turn them on and off with) but it has 2 fuses inline before current woukd get to it that arent popped and now that he put old solenoid back in it wont start again but he still has 0 lights.do these vans have bcms?
I just cant find any credible wiring diagrams to this van anywhere nor bcm ecm or pcm locations to check them out and i dont really want to drop it off to an automotive electrical shop because ik its got to be between tbe wiring to solenoid and under dash unto fuse box...also its speedometer does not work while driving it now
And i dont have access to diag tools until next week when i return from vacation and need to get this thing mobile for him so i can have my spare car back lol

then keep looking because without a multi tester of some kind and knowledge to use it there's not much I can tell you , why would you put the old solenoid back in ? ?
