After a distributor change, van cranks but no start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the distributor,  reinstalled, started once now
complete no start, still cranks. Also replaced ICM,
solenoid,  regulator,  cap, rotor, plugs, wires and coil

Sounds like the distributor didn't get positioned properly causing a timing issue.
