Where is the fuel pump located on a 1988 f e350 club wagon, with a carbarator?

1987 E350's should be carbureted, with a Holley carburetor serving a 460 motor, usually fueled by an engine driver pump mounted on the left lower front of the motor

I have a 1983 echoline motor home 460 and I have no idea where my electric pump is. Is it in tank or on a rail? I found a black box on its rail with fuel lines 6 of them going into it but nothing useful I think
I think that's your transfer switch for dual tanks fuel pump Is located on drivers side of engine next to the oil filter I have the same thing
We have E350 eldorado bus need to know where relay for duke pump is
I have 1988 F350 w/460 engine class C camper..it always fires rt up I had a guy install a radio when we put it back in dash it stopped working...we looked and fuse was blown, when we replaced it engine still cranked and run then blowed fuse again. I VERY gently moved a wire over so I could see fuse and now engine won’t fire, it will crank but no fire,,,we’ve checked fuel pump, checked firing all was good, battery is great, has 3/4tank of gas and yes fuel gauge works I just put in 10 gal of gas to make sure..can anyone help..
fuel cut off switch. passenger side kick panel
What side it the fuel line for this car
I have a 1988 FordEconoline 350( Lindy) Motorhome w/7.5 liter gas.Ive change the distributor cap and rotor, plugs, throttle position sensor, fuel pump relay, throttle position sensor,EEG,as well as the Computer, still no start, also put in a IN-LINE,fuel pump to save from having to drop the tank for the fuel pump.
So what is the easiest way to replace a fuel pump for a 1988 Ford econoline 350,lindy motorhome w/a 7.5l V8?
Please help me out here, could it just be the fuel pump, or other variables also?
I have a 1988 Ford Econoline 350(Lindy) Motorhome, with a 7.5 liter gasoline engine. At first It was running kinda sluggish and had to floor the pedal to eget any kind of power. Then I couldn't even get it up a driveway. So I replaced distributor cap and rotor, throttle position sensor, even the computer on it,as the fuel filter along the frame rail.StillCrank, but no start. Can someone please help.
Michael i have the same set up in my jayco 26. I also crank and will run on starting fluid. My rv's tail is down hill and it's been there for some time. (4 years) I heard there's a diaphragm pump to feed fuel at start up. then when u get oil pressure. The pressure switch grounds the circuit for the pressure pump. So I am going to find that relay today and jump it. I'll update tonight
1985 Ford E350 Aluma-Lite HRC M200 RV; no fuel pumping at carb. Bypassed with jerry can, fuel 1-2 psi regulator and electric pump for testing engine (Starts and idles fine). Back tracking 2-fuel lines from carb to (possible electric pump)? I can’t see where they goes, but both lines make it to the rail fuel selector switch 2-out and 4-in from tanks. Suspect inertia cut-off switch after researching diagrams and understanding other people with similar fuel issues. Disconnected all lines and pulled tank selector switch to test later. Blew air through lines all clear, so need to test relays and find the pump (next to oil filter or on rail as some mentioned). I do not want to drops tanks and replace fuel units until I have confirmed all else.
turn key to on check frame rail pump for vibration, tap with hammer lightly.

I have a 1985 Ford E350 Chassis on my Class C motorhome (Jamee). It has two tanks. Under the dash is a switch to select which tank to run on. The gas is circulated continuously from the tank to the carb and back again to help with vapor lock due to high temps under the hood. There is a dual diverter valve to switch the two gas lines to each tank. Under the right side of the hood (driver's side) are some relays that operate the diverter valve. Check these relays and replace as necessary. The fuel pump relays are there also, as they are connected to the fuel pumps in each tank. No engine mounted pump is mounted. At the engine is a restriction port which allows the engine to use fuel as needed, and sends the rest back to the tank. It looks like an inline fuel filter, but has 3 ports for the gas lines. Here's the problem with this setup: The gasoline formula back then was 100 gas, no ethanol. Modern gas has a lower evaporation temp, and you get less mileage. The system is not calibrated for the new gas mixture. Thus you get a motor that is constantly "running out of gas". The pumps in the tank can't supply enough fuel to the motor because most of it is just coming back to the tank. The solution is to get an external pump to push more fuel to the motor. In my case I also needed a pressure regulator because the pump I used was a bit too strong and would flood the carb. Also check the oil pressure sending unit, which won't allow the fuel pump to run if there's no oil pressure. This pressure unit is bypassed when cranking, so it will start but not run if the sending unit is bad or you're out of oil.
