2018 Subaru Outback stalling and other electrical issues
Driving in a downpour the other day, went up a hill and stopped short. Car
went dead as a door nail - engine stalled and ALL electronics turned off, even
the radio and dash. Flashers still worked. Took three tries (Didn’t even
turnover) but did finally restart. Thinking electrical, shut off everything but the
wipers and lights, and in a complete panic drove home. At Subaru service and
they cant replicate. Not a bad battery they said. Also, sometimes have trouble
locking car as it thinks driver door is open. When it stalled, it was like I
manually pushed ignition button and opened driver door. It has a remote
starter, so is water getting in and shutting of ignition and messing with the door
sensor?
