Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to update 2018 Subaru Outback STARLINK software and say's it's
updated but it's not showing the current version. Version showing is
REL_UA.18XXXX but should be REL_UA.20XXXXXX.  Any suggestions?

I printed and followed the software instructions and it didn't update. I took it to the local dealer and showed him the instructions. For some reason he took pity on me and also tried following the instructions. He couldn't get it updated so he asked one of the mechanics in the back to try updating it. They have direct access to the latest version and they were able to get it updated. They didn't charge me which is a miracle because updating the STARLINK software really isn't one of the services they perform. I was a returning customer so maybe that's why they helped????
