MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON SO WE TOOK THE BATTERY CABLE
OFF TO REST IT AND GET IT OFF, BUT NOW AFTER WE REPLACED IT
THE PASSAGER SIDE WINDOW WONT GO UP OR DOWN WHY?

That trick won't work your check engine light was on for a sensor sending a malfunction signal to the car computer, most likely you tripped a fuse, check your fuse box, all of them should be marked, it is easy to see if it is blown.

After removing a Battery Cable some cars have to be reset for some functions to work ..It happened on my Mercedes..
