Within the last 2 days I noticed my ABS/TRACTION
light came on, and stays on.What is the reasoning
for it, and will it cost alot to fix. I have 225,000 kms
on it

First thing I would do is check the brake fluid, if that's not it lots of places will inspect your brakes for free. Hope it's nothing serious, good luck sir.

Wheel speed sensor most likely. Not always bad sometimes just cleaning them of metal shavings. Sensor tip is magnetic. Could be the reluctor ring that sensor sees. One of the easier fixes on a car in my opinion.
