My engine light is on on my pontiac g6 it's reading o2 sensors will this cause my car not to want to go it feels like my tran is going bad

O2 sensor sends data to the ECM to adjust the air/fuel mix. If the proper mix can't be achieved at a certain RPM the engine will drop back to where it is within range. So yes, it can reduce power noticeably.
