Can a 5.3 v8 from a grand prix gxp fit in a 2006 g6 gt?

no. g6 is based on the grand am platform, not the grand prix. It would fit in the g8 though.
enough time , money and fabrication, you can put any motor in any car.....it all depends on how much you want or can afford to do, if it doesnt 'bolt in' it will require fabrication, and that can get expensive
It would not bolt in, and would require extensive fabrication to fit as well as a much more beefed up front end to handle the extra weight- you would be better off buying a GXP gr. prix instead.
yea but i dont like the way the grand prixs look, plus it wouldnt weigh too much heavier than the six cylinder thats already in it. no one would expect that much power out of the g6 with a v8 haha

Has anyone done the research to see what kind of fabrication would require to achieve this?
