Wiring Harness for the radio

Asked by Brooke Dec 28, 2017 at 12:57 PM about the 2006 Pontiac G6 GT

Question type: Car Customization

I am replacing my stock radio and I wanted to know what the wiring diagram
is for my car. I’ve looked everywhere and none of the wires match what I need
them to in order to hard wire them up to the new harness for the new radio.

The ground wire in the picture is the new harness wire, not the car (old radio)
wires.

Might be best to splice factory radio plug back on and go buy you a radio install kit for your car. They real easy to use. Most walmarts will have them in radio section. With the kit it just plugs into your stock radio connections and gives you the wire colors to connect to your new radio. Just make sure you get the right one for your year, make and model car.

I bought a 06 g6 Pontiac and it gives me a code of auto theft for the radio and it doesn’t allow it to work is there anyway I could fix that or just eliminate it so it doesn’t come out again if i install an aftermartek stereo
