I’m having the same problem! Did you figure out what caused this?

I have a 2008 torrent and when it rained heavily my floorboards in the front seat were wet. I started to research this problem and found the answer to my problem. If you have a sunroof, the drain could be plugged with leaves, debris, or whatever. Open your sunroof and clear out all the leaves or anything else that has accumulated. Now on each side of the sunroof there is a hole/drain. when it rains, water will go through and come out the bottom of car. find a wire or a wire hanger that you can push through that drain and whatever is pligging it up. You ca also use an air compressor. once you've done that try pouring water into the drain holes and see if it comes out the bottom of your car.
