The private seller will not give you financing, but you can get a loan from your bank or credit union. Cargurus even has third part companies they use, click the financing link at the top of the screen to start your application.

Obviously if your credit is good you can simply take a personal loan, a bank especially if you belong to a credit union may take the title, however I believe it may need to be 7 years old at most. I am not a banking expert but I have had loans on cars where banks offered to refinance my car if it was under 7 years old. I never had to do it personally but If they are willing to refinance then why wouldn't they be willing to finance in the first place? Again just a thought worth asking the bank? I am a car expert though and I would be more concerned why you are willing to finance a 14 year old never going to be classic car made by a company that doesn't exist anymore"?
