Exactly, they can search local Dealer's inventory for the vehicle you want. When my Niece bought her new Malibu in 2016 she wanted a white one. The local Chevrolet Dealer didn't have one but another Dealer about 100 miles away did. So they ordered it from that Dealer for her. Hope that helps! Jim

Dealers have no more left to purchase. I have #79 of 100, and paid well over MSRP for the privilege. #1 sold for $2M at auction. I purchased mine from the same dealer who paid $2M for his, having survived an intense waiting list and knowing this dealer, Kent Stevinson, personally. These are instant collectibles that will not be driven much, if any at all. #15 was auctioned last February at Mecum Kissimmee for $192,500, and #47 (I believe) sold this summer for about $158k at Mecum Monterey. These prices do not include the normal 10% auction commission. Best of luck in your search, but don't hold your breath unless you're willing to pay over $200k in the resale market, and perhaps more once the series goes out of production, which is predicted to happen within the next couple years or so.
