Lower siding of my car is coming loose.

Asked by Dave Jul 07, 2020 at 12:55 PM about the 2006 Pontiac Vibe Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As seen in the picture the siding below the
doors is coming loose. Is there any kind of
sealant I could use to close it up? Or is there a
clip that came loose that needs to be
reinstalled?

I believe that the small white plastic part is one of the clips designed to hold this part close to the car body. If it no longer holds the trim in place, get a new one either from a dealer or parts store and replace it.
