04 Aztek Security reset does not work

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the steering wheel on 04 Aztek. (Identical
to original) Changed it because radio buttons quit
working and the whhel and column inly cost $50.
Came with original keys. Tried the 30 minute reset
6 times. Will not crank. Security light stays on. Im
assuming fuel has been stooped to deter theft.
Any ideas? Was thinking remote start. Please don't
say take to dealer. Why would there be a forum if
we were all going to pay dealership.?

Also, whst about remote start? Cost about the same as dealer repair with remote start for cold winters!

I will try locksmith. They don't bill according to a time table created by the union. BTW, dentists do the same. They follow Delta Dental billing schedule. It doesn't matter that you can do it in half the time, same bill.
