Desperate

Asked by Jenifer Oct 18, 2016 at 01:01 AM about the 2004 Pontiac Aztek AWD

Question type: General

So my car doesn't run. It has problems with the fuel system. I
guess it might be easy repair. Not sure. I'm looking to see if any
one has information regarding somewhere that allows trades for
non running vehicles or maybe a website that owners list running
cars for trades. I'm not sure if that's a thing. Maybe I'm dreaming
that it is. Ha I'm desperate to have a running vehicle. Any
information, thoughts and /or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated! Thank you!

If you are buying or leasing new , some but not all with take a car running or not. You just need to car the dealer and find out.

If your car does not run they probably will only give you $200 trade in. Put the Aztek out of its misery and have it crushed. The world will thank you!

Sorry but the Aztek is the ugliest car ever made. I did not sugar coat it but I am just telling it the way it is. Good luck,

Your only other choice is to take it to a mechanic and open up your wallet. If it is an easy fix then you will be money ahead selling a running car but it sounds like you want to dump it.

I definitely do not want to dump it. Lol I kinda like it a lot I just need to get it running.

If you trade it in not running it will go straight to the junk yard. You may want to check out Edmunds or the Blue Book to see what your car is worth in good running condition. That will guide you in making a decision on how much to spend on fixing it. Do remember that trading in a non running car will probably only get you $200 or so.
