Does the dealer tell you or have to tell you if a vehicle has been in an accedent

They won’t offer information, but you can ask, if it was then maybe it was reported to Car-fax and so there is a record of it.

Ask the Dealer for a free Carfax report BEFORE you buy. If they can't or won't give you one, buy one. It's money well spent. Especially if you find out the vehicle was totalled or something. Hope that helps! Jim
