I have a 2003 aztek ran fine this morning.went to gas station to get gas car died. Put gas in it but still want start. Will turn over but want stay started like it's not getting gas.

sounds like a possible fuel pump. if you can get your fuel pressure tested, that will tell the tale.

Fuel pump for sure because you just filled up and that is when they like to fail for some reason. The bad news is that the fuel pump is located IN the fuel tank and now you have a full tank of gas. The fuel tank has to be dropped in order to access the fuel pump. I speak from experience on this. It is a four figure $ repair and DO NOT use any chinese made fuel pumps if you choose to have it fixed. You want OEM.

Before I replaced a fuel pump, I would try the fuel filter. Much less expense to start there, and if you haven't ever changed it, then it needs replaced anyway. Also, do not run cars low on gas. This allows tank sediments to be pulled up into the fuel line.
