Why won't the little red lights on the middle console and doors light up anymore on a 2002 Pontiac firebird?

I had a couple lights burn out and it's just a little light bulb you have to take off the door handle assembly and the light pops out from a socket in there and you replace the light it's not an LED light its a regular bulb light and in the console I'm not sure but you pop the cover of a console and replace light inside they are just microlights that you need to replace tiny little lights with a red cover on them hope this helps you.
or have you checked your fuses its probably a burned out fuse that controls those lights.
Typically, you will need to disassemble some of the console to reach the burnt out bulb. Look for screw fasteners inside the map pocket and, possibly, the top of the console frame. Go slow and you should be able to get to it. My '91 only had one bulb and it is a 5 speed. If yours is an automatic you may have more than one bulb to find and replace.

I checked the fuses years ago (yes, I've let it go this long), and didn't see a burnt fuse. I will disassemble the parts and see if the bulbs all need to be replaced. It's just odd since they all went out at the same time.
