2001 Pontiac Bonneville ssei, grinding noise coming from the front driver side wheel

When the front driver side wheel is rotating there is a grinding
noise like something is rubbing. Any ideas of what it could
be?

With fwd, I usually suspect a halfshaft joint. Anymore, I just get a whole halfshaft replacement, I don't fool with the joint itself. I wouldn't drive the vehicle till you figure out the problem and fix it. Just my opinion.
