4.6 v8 gas mileage?

what kind of mpg would I get driving normal in this vehicle  which has the v8 4.6 and it is the LX .  Both city and highway if available?? How can I tell if it is the sport v 8.  This a 2nd owner car with only 38 k miles asking 2500.oo gold silver out side and same interior with small spare but not a donought

The 4.6 is a good engine. They are used in police cars, that run lots of hours. You should get at least 20 mpg on the highway.

From a 4.6 you should get 23 highway and 15 city as Tom said. I get about 23 now with my 302 5.0. But have an air intake in mine so I'm sure if you are willing to put a little money in to it you could be looking at about 26 miles to the gallon highway and about 17 city.
