Just because the fuel pump is coming on does not mean it is pumping remove hose from fuel rail and use a jar to catch gas have someone turn key to the on position gas should come out of hose in a nice strong stream of not bad fuel pump. Sometimes a pump can go bad internally pump will come on but will not pump gas.

The fuel pump will still kick on and not suck any gas, my fuel stopped working on my bonneville and it still turned on, just wouldn't suck gas up. It could be a clogged line but you'll probably have to drop the tank
