how to change power steering fluid

car made funny noise while parked, thought a rabbit might be under it, then check gauges light came on and when tried to drive had no steering

The power-steering fluid reservoir is below the alternator on the passenger side of the engine, but hard to spot because it and its cap are black. it's either low fluid or a broken pump or serp belt is gone .
