why are car dealers allowed to list cars that are sold?

calling on corvettes to buy and they are listing cars that are not available for
sale  this should not be allowed by your company.

My guess are the sellers don't purposely pay to list vehicles that aren't for sale just to rile you up. The sellers most probably don't have time to remove the ads in this busy time of car buying.

Cargurus has no way of knowing when a vehicle is sold. It's up to the sellers to remove the ad when they sell their vehicles. Hope that helps! Jim
