Exterior mold scent 2021 car

Recently got a new 2021 VW jetta.  Parked it in the the garage and the car
gave off an extremely strong mold odor.  Not inside the car but outside the car.  
We took it to the dealer and they said it all checked out okay.  When parked in
the garage can still smell it.  Not going away.  What is going on?
