anti brake light staying on sensor in tire bad

car set for a while have put alot of money in to it now the anti locke and taction light is staying on took it to shop and he sai sensor in tire is bad can i get this from a used car.

I am assuming that the shop is talking about wheel speed sensor that is installed at each wheel. It sounds like the ABS/Traction Control unit is unable to read a signal from one or more wheel speed sensor. My guess is that either a wire to the sensor/s is broken or the sensor is damaged. If a wheel had been damaged, then I would say this is possible for a sensor to go bad as well. If the sensor is damaged it is usually replaced as a bearing and sensor as a whole. In other words, if the sensor is bad, the bearing also has to be replaced.
