I looked at both cars with online photos & I dont think it will work sorry. They are close in design but it looks like where they tie into the front bumper they are different the 97 has a little longer travel from meeting the front bumper seam to the wheel look at both cars online like I did & you can see the difference plus the 2000 has fake exhaust portals & the 97 does not.
