1996 Pontiac Bonneville random misfiring.
Engine seems to be running at about 200°, or a tad over, according to gauge. I was
thinking of changing thermostat to a 180° thermostat. I live in SW Florida and was
thinking it may be a good idea. It seems to run better if under 200 on hot and humid
days. Would like to know if a 180° thermostat is too cool, or should I stick with a 195°
thermostat. Engine is not overheating since I changed belt tensioner assembly and
elbow, but when in traffic on hot, humid day it misfires. Code is P0300
