2021 nissan rogue grinds going into park

i have a 2021 nissan rogue sl 2wd i was driving and in made a clunk noise and
now it wont go into gear and it grinds when i put it in park can anyone help me
with what this could be its never slipped before or made any noise

Oh No another Nissan CVT biting the dust. Take it to a transmission shop and hope it's repairable, if not then you have an expensive lawn ornament.

Those CVT's have been in development for decades and they suck . It should be called a problematic tranny
