www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BaECAbapRg -- check this out. Hydr pressure caused by pressure on the clutch pedal makes slave cylinder extend pushing the forked rod and it forces the throw out bearing into the center of the pressure plate causing the tension from the pressure plate to be released from the clutch disk allowing clutch to disengage from flywheel.
