Trading in a brand new lease

Asked by mlong7724 Jul 22, 2021 at 03:21 PM about the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport V6 SE 4Motion with Technology

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Recently leased a VW Atlas Sport, and am very disappointed, in many
directions, that it has a wind whistling noise (when you drive 40mph or over).
Disappointed at myself that I never took it on the highway before committing,
and disappointed at VW that there's no apparent 'fix' for this.

My general question is, what are my options in essentially trading in this
lease towards another lease (of a similar, probably non-VW car)?

Read your lease and talk to the lease company. You are on the hook for the term of the lease. Maybe you can buy it out or find a sucker to take over payments.
