what would happen if i put an Rear limited slip differential from a 89 firebird Formula on a 95 Firebird Base

my buddy told me he would sell me an 'Australian' limited slip differential from a 1989
firebird formula gta and we could put it on my 1995 firebird base. im wondering if it would
work and what would change and what whould i have to buy to make it work...(the pic is
what the part looks like)

It won't fit. You're going to spend more money putting the 89 differential on a 4th gen then it would cost to get a lsd designed for your series. Not to mention replacing everything that breaks from the hack job on your innocent vehicle. Save yourself the current and future trouble and put an lsd for your series on.
