Check that all cooling fans are coming on when its hot. The wet in the passenger floorboard is a leaky heater core unrelated issue unless so much is leaking there that the radiator is empty. There are many symptoms of a blown head gasket and not including 0) oil in coolant but yet all will cause your engine to overheat like: 1) coolant in oil 2) steam or white smoke exiting tail pipe 3) Exhaust escaping into the coolant radiator 4) coolant leaking from engine 5) oil leaking from engine 6) exhaust leaking from engine 7) air being suck in the engine from gasket 8) poor performance and all other head gasket related issues. Have a compression check done on all cylinders, Have the test to find exhaust in coolant check done. Hey if it passes then you know for sure. Is the thermostat installed correct. Oil condition excessively worn bottom end. Are all the oil and cooling passages clear, you may say how could they get clogged up, oil additives, bad oil ran hot, cooking of the engine. Head and intake gasket and radiator leak seal product used in the cooling system. Change the bottom hose but if its not leaking it will solve the overheating issue. If it passes compression test anf exhaust in coolant test add a oil cooler, bigger radiator.
Heater core loosing fluid will make it run hot.
May even be loosing more fluid than you see in floor board, what is not running in floor board is going out ac drain.
Booone,if you know the heater core is leaking,reroute/bypass the heater hose line temporary to check and see if that is your issue,

If its leaking fix it and see. Not a tiny leak if you do not have steam blowing inside your car like from a hole in a hot radiator or your radiator drain near all the way from the heater core then no I do not believe this is why your overheating 100%, it sure does not help any, but its multi issue you have more going on.
Agree enginecreator, but the best way to find the real issue is repair what you see first, then what you dont see. will be underlying issue,s

I think bypassing the heater core is the best idea to get past that issue like T_S_T said and move on to locating the root cause.
