The fuel filter on a 1991 Pontiac Firebird is located underneath the vehicle. To get to the filter, crawl under the vehicle from the driver's side. Look in front of the rear wheel well. The fuel filter should be mounted to the vehicle frame just below the seating area. Depends on the engine, but mostly it is on the passenger side, near the window washer expansion vessel. Or the second place it might be is near the firewall on the driver side. Mine was on the passenger side.
