i have a 1992 pontiac firebird gta. recently it has started to die when i stop the car while driving. what is causing this to happe? once it dies i can start it back up again right away.

Not enough info to provide a meaningful guess. Have you had the codes pulled to see what shows up on the diagnostics? I had a similar problem on my 91 Trans Am that turned out to be related to the coil/pick up that was failing and not providing spark occasionally. The car would stop when the engine RPM's dropped but start right back up with the turn of the key. Good luck.
