Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Newer belt slipping. No adjustment that I can see to loosen off and tighten. Appears belt tensioner keeps the belt under proper tension?

It has spring tension. When you bolt it up there should be a place where a pointed tip on the tensioner sets back in the block or bracket.

They are not adjustable, and not repairable. They should always be replaced when you replace the belt. Buy a new one, they're less than $25.
