how to take out take the ignition orange wire off

I need it to replace the ignition but I can't remove it

Are you trying to remove the ignition lock cylinder, or the entire ignition switch? The cylinder has an orange lead which is actually a pair of small wires. The wires do not disconnect at the switch itself but at the connector further down the steering column. You'll need to have your key replaced as well with the correctly coded resistance key, I guess you know that.
