it is held on by stupid plastic, you must remove the door panel...before i begin, assuming power??? if not, let someone trained do it....but if power, remove the panel position the window so you can move it upwards, until you see the 2 10 millimeter bolts that hold it in, (can be phillip head screws), split the difference of the center, and you will see them at the bottom of the glass, along the trim piece, then remove the glass, have someone hold it for you when you unscrew those, then (the tricky part), repositioning the track to where you can get to the bolts that hold it in (so it is compressed enough to come completely out of that gap in the door frame), then unplug the window motor, unscrew and remove, (THAT IS WHERE IF IT IS A ROLL DOWN YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IT, THE SPRING HAS TOO MUCH COMPRESSION AND CAN TAKE YOUR FINGERS OFF), once you figured how to get it out of the frame, unbolt the 3 or so bolts that hold on the regulator motor and track, replacing it exactly alike on the new one...and reinstall....if i wasn't detailed enough or need help message me...
then be freakin careful, you have to wind it partially, but the spring not supported, after unbolted, has enough force to remove fingers if comes undone, but same process....
