Question type: General
My "old" 2012 Jetta GLI had the function of being able to open or close all of the windows using the ignition key in the drivers door keyed lock (on the door handle)
2017 GLI is keyless and has no place to insert the key into the driver's side door handle. Is there any way to be able to perform the all-up-all-down function?

I would guess your owners manual might have something, if not then I would assume it couldn't be done...

Start the car and push to buttons on the arm rest... I'm kidding. Check to see if there is a cover over the key hole in the drivers door. If there isn't one there, I don't know how it could be done.
um from my knowledge there is a sensor in the door handle maybe try and hold the key next to the door handle for a few seconds. If there is a physical key hidden in the remote there will likely be a key port behind the door handle where the lock usually is. you just need to pop the cover off the handle.
i found when you lock your door with your finger on the handle. Lock again to hear the beep. If you keep your finger there the windows automatically roll up. I READ if you lock it by touching the handle then immediately hold your hand inside the handle (unlock position) the windows will roll down. Haven't tried it yet. Cant seem to do it by holding the button on the remote.
