Is there buyer protection. I'm buying a car thats from out of state and im
having it shipped to me. If the car doesn't pass inspection can I get money
back?

Talk to the seller. I wouldn't buy anything without a 3rd party inspection before sending any money.

Never ever buy a vehicle sight unseen!! Especially a used one!! I've used lemonsquad.com for my pre purchase inspections, when buying long distance, with excellent results! On a nearly 20 year old vehicle you'll be buying it as is unless the seller agrees otherwise in writing! Also remember that any disputes would need to be settled in a court in the seller's jurisdiction, not yours. So you would have to travel to their location to file the complaints. Then go back again when your case is ready to be heard. Again, on a nearly 20 year old vehicle, have it inspected before you buy it so you know exactly what you're buying!! Jim
