No acceleration, sputtering, is it the fuel pump

There are many causes for your engine to sputter. It may just need a tune up, and the engine checked over. I don't think it is the fuel pump as it seems to start, but it is a good Idea to have the fuel filter changed out, which they would do during a tune up.
As far as driving it, I wouldn't be going any long distances with it. Also, no acceleration could be plugged up catalytic converters. You should just take it into a local shop to be looked at.
Thanks soooo much. But I have no choice but to drive it about 18miles to work for at least another week that's round trip miles. Just hope and pray it will be OK. Once again THANK YOU
Your welcome. Just see how it goes, hopefully it won't give out on you, leaving you stranded.
