2002 Boxter S..Charged my battery and tried to start the car. It didn't start but the spoiler came up. Changed the battery, but the spoiler won't recede using the up/down control button.

Asked by Guru9YLV3 Jun 11, 2017 at 04:42 PM about the 2002 Porsche Boxster S

Question type: General

Rear spoiler will not retract using the control button. Also, installed a new
battery and the battery light in the control panel is now lit.

Check with your local Porsche dealer. You may be able to "re- set" everything by turning the key in the door a few times to the right or left. If that doesn't work check the fuses. When you disconnected the battery something must have happened. I'm sure the dealer can fix it easily. Search Google for Porsche forums on your specific problem.
