A floor jack would be helpful to hold up the door, but not absolutely necessary.
Two people. Remove the inside door panel and disconnect any electric or electronic components, label the wires. Pull the wires through the boot and remove the boot. Using a felt tip pen, trace the outline of the old hinges on the pillar/jam, this will make alignment easier. Remove the lock cylinder from the door being replaced to be used in the replacement door. I find it easier to place the cylinder in the replacement door while off the vehicle. Unbolt the bottom hinge on the old door first. Then either support the old door from underneath or have someone hold it up while the top hinge is unbolted. When installing the replacement door, attach the top hinge first, then the bottom. Align, as close as possible, the hinge with the outline(s) made on the door jamb. Reroute electrical connections through boot and install boot. You may have to fine tune the adjustment to make the door close properly.
