If they were crossed for that period of time I am quite sure the plugs are bad and needs new spark plugs.

He changed them already. Is it possible it could have jumped time due to the plugs being wrong and when he put them in the right order it jumped time?

I would do a compression test on the cylinders. As far as jumping time I really do not think so.

I will have to ask him these questions when I talk to him again. He lives in Tennessee and I'm in Florida.
