Turning off the engine

Asked by crusader95 Apr 21, 2017 at 06:20 AM about the 1995 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1995 GT 5.0 Mustang turns off alone after about 15 -20 minut, doesn´t
matter by drive or stand. And after it, there is no chance to start again.
Good start with cold engine, but no run when it is warm. New cables, upper
side of dizzy, ignition plugs and fuel system.
It looks like electric problem, because by trying the start the ignition plugs
don´t give any sparks. Do you have any idea how to find the solution?
Thanks a lot. Jay

Check for cracked coils, even the tiniest hairline cracks invisible to the naked eye can expand after heating up.

Also, this sounds like the Ignition Control Module may be on its way out. Engine heat will affect it, causing a no start condition until it cools down.
